Vangelis Stavropoulos, Project Assistant to Core Operations Department

Vangelis has lived in London for most of his life. His studies in Economics led him to a derivatives clerk position at the London International Financial Futures & Options Exchange (LIFFE), where he was fortunate to experience the last of the London based “open outcry” trading floors systems. In 2000 Vangelis moved into equity research for a multi-billion dollar investment fund. As a research analyst he covered European stocks in the process of mergers and acquisitions. Vangelis left the city of London in 2006 for a life style change to the island of Crete, where ENISA gave him the opportunity to capitalize on his background with a position in the accounts department. For the last four years Vangelis has been working in the operational department assisting project managers with research and the co-ordination of events.
